My teddy's name is Mishka. When I was 12, I took my paper route money and got on a bus to Boston all by myself to go Christmas shopping. I found him in Filene's Basement. It was the 70s, so he was a Soviet circus bear who defected to the USA during the cold war.

I don't know you, but I just discovered Teddy by accident while looking up Jim Beaver on IMDB! I cannot tell you how excited I am, because my grandparents gifted me a very similar bear when I was born. I named him Timmy, and his music box also stopped playing Braham's Lullaby decades ago. The tag with the name brand is faded, and I have often wondered how I could find a similar bear and possibly another music box. I wondered if he was a Knickerbocker bear, and your short film has confirmed it for me.
